On Thursday (28^th September 2023) the Ruwenzori Diocese Bishop Rt. Rev. Reuben Kisembo Amooti made a pastoral visit at Nyamango technical institute in accompaniment with the Archdeacon of Nyantungo Archdeaconry received by the principle Nyamango Technical Institute.

He thanked the Principle Mr. Kasapuli Gregorory Dominic for a warm welcome and later led a service at the institute where 12 students were confirmed and started receiving Holy Communion.

In his preaching, he preached about the 3Hs from a book called “Top secret of educating your child” by Fagil Mandy in reference with the bible teachings. The 3Hs included the Head, Hands and Heart that they should be used wisely in order to succeed in life.

He later on encouraged students to go for further studies upon completing their certificate courses to have a better life, “…the lower the education, the harder the life and the higher the education, the sweeter the life” said the Bishop.

He also advised students of Nyamango Technical Institute and Nyamango Primary School to abstain from sex in order to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS & early pregnancies, avoid drugs and intoxicated drinks, avoid cheating in exams all which are sins in front of God.

He prayed, blessed and wished both finalist, continuing students and P.7 pupils upon their fourth coming exams due to be done in November.
